Moonsoon Cup 2016 at Nusajaya

Regarded as the richest sailing event in the world with RM1.5 million offered as prize money, Johor will once again host this prestigious event. The Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, is expected to officially open the event on Jan 25.

Johor state secretary Datuk Ismail Karim stated that 25 other events will also be organised for spectators and visitors during the Monsoon Cup, including a simulator sailing facility to encourage more people to participate in sailing events. Free bus services would be provided from the Larkin Bus Terminal, JB Sentral, and Legoland Malaysia to Puteri Harbour Marina during the six-day competition.
